“If a child cannot learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn.”

LEARNING BY DOING

At TSUS, learning goes beyond memorisation and rote repetition. Our process emphasizes “how” students learn. We provide experiential education that fosters deep understanding, critical thinking, and a lifelong love for learning.

CHOICE TIME

Children explore storybooks, sandpits, blocks, playdough, and role-play—encouraging self-directed learning through fun and creativity.

CIRCLE TIME

Promotes community, empathy, and communication. Students and teachers share, listen, and reflect in a safe and open space.

WONDER TIME

Fuels curiosity with hands-on exploration. Encourages children to ask “why” and “how” while developing observational and analytical skills.

SHOW ‘N’ TELL

Builds confident communicators. Students present their thoughts and interests to peers, learning to speak with clarity and confidence.

DEAR TIME

“Drop Everything And Read” – 15 minutes of daily reading for all students. Instills a habit of reading for pleasure and knowledge.

DEED

Debate, Extempore, Elocution, Drama – monthly sessions that empower students to express ideas, think critically, and perform with poise.

RESEARCH & REFERRAL

Inspires out-of-the-box thinking. Students investigate topics using data collection, experimentation, and presentations.

LIFE SKILLS

Grades V–X explore personal growth, decision-making, values, and goal-setting through weekly self-reflection and life-skill sessions.

WRITER’S WORKSHOP

Grades IV–V express their voices through original writing. Students brainstorm, draft, revise, and publish with guidance.

SHRI READING PROGRAMME

A structured literacy program from Nursery to Grade VIII. Focuses on comprehension, phonics, vocabulary, and critical reading skills.
